Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episode 11 title: ‘Don’t Fear the Reaper’
Obviously, the ABC series does like to take many of its episode-title cues from song titles, and they are choosing to do that again in naming an installment after a famous song from Blue Oyster Cult. It’s one of the more well-known songs that is out there from its era. (If you haven’t heard it before for whatever reason, we’ve got that for you below.)
Just in looking at “Don’t Fear the Reaper” alone (thanks to SpoilerTV for the title reveal), it should be abundantly clear why we are shaking in our boots: Could this be an episode where we actually see a character die? We obviously don’t want that to happen — we never want that to happen — but this seems to be an episode touching either on death or the sentiment that comes before death. Maybe it’s meant to be about bravery, or about doing whatever you can in the present so that whenever death does come it feels as though you’ve lived a happy and fulfilled life.
No matter the interpretation (it doesn’t have to be the same interpretation as with the song), we’re certainly scared for whatever could be coming in this episode. We’ve come to expect the worst anytime that the show is teasing some sort of possible death.

Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episode 11 is an installment you should mark on the calendar, but it’s a little too early to speculate who could be in trouble or facing death. It could be a significant character who gets in some sort of life-or-death situation, or it could just be a patient who comes into the hospital and leaves a tremendous impact.
