The Bachelor spoilers: Someone’s ex arrives late in Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season

Someone's ex arrives

Well, The Bachelor does like to find ways to shock people — and they may be doing that at the end of the season.

Basically, someone’s ex is going to arrive late in Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season to try and cause chaos — as a matter of fact, they’re going to try to propose to the girl they apparently love! You can see this play out in the trailer below.

As for how we know it’s late in the season, you can see via the way that ABC sets this up, coupled with the setting that Arie seems to be in. Typically producers don’t shift outside of America until a little later on down the road, and Arie is seemingly dressed in his final outfit, the one that he will propose to the woman he chooses in.

Sometimes, The Bachelor is subject to hyperbole, and maybe they are here. Yet, it does seem as though this ex does arrive and the situation plays out much as it seems to in the teaser. Speaking on this more to The Hollywood Reporter this week, Arie had the following message to pass along:

“That’s difficult for anyone, if you’re dating somebody and their ex comes. It’s a difficult situation. In any scenario when you’re dealing with an ex, it’s a touchy subject because that person was obviously a big part of their life and they chose to be with that person at some point, so to have that enter this experience was stressful.”

As for whose ex this is, we don’t want to spoil all of the surprise here. It’s clearly someone who Arie grows close to; otherwise, it wouldn’t hurt anywhere near as much. This is probably going to be something that is hyped up for the vast majority of the season, so you can go ahead and expect this to be played in approximately one billion trailers and promos between now and the finale in March.
