NCIS season 15 episode 12 sneak peek: Meet Melissa Newhall

Who is Melissa Newhall on NCIS season 15 episode 12? She was a JAG lawyer, and before that, she was a very successful law school graduate who had her pick of the litter and she chose to go into this particular line of work after rising from a tough upbringing. Melissa Newhall has the story that you would love to root for … and unfortunately, she’s now dead. She is the victim at the heart of Tuesday night’s new episode “Dark Secrets.”

For those of you wondering precisely how we were going to see Bud Roberts of JAG worked into the story, the NCIS season 15 episode 12 sneak peek below does a pretty excellent job of giving that away. She was killed in some sort of terrible fashion, but since Bud was her Commanding Officer he could be a good source of information. He may at least give the team a good profile as to her character and if there are any people out there who could have had a motive for wanting to kill her. There was also a man in her life, but the NCIS hasn’t been able to locate him just yet. Obviously, things aren’t quite looking good for him as a suspect right now.

Of course it’s important for the team to get some sort of justice for Melissa Newhall in this episode, and we do think that they’re going to be able to find it. It’s just going to take some effort — and there will probably be a few shocking reveals along the way. One of the big things to be concerned about with this episode comes via its title. What are the “Dark Secrets,” and who has them? What does it mean if the team finds them?

Also, who had a nostalgia flashback when Gibbs reacted to Bishop saying Bud Roberts’ name?

Obviously, “Dark Secrets” is going to appeal heavily to those out there who loved JAG and like seeing some of those characters back in some capacity. Beyond that though, it also does appeal to anyone who wants a good mystery!
