Where is Top Chef: Last Chance Kitchen episode 7?
As it turns out here, there is a perfectly reasonably explanation as to why Top Chef: Last Chance Kitchen episode 7 isn’t available today — it’s not like Tu David Phu can go in there and compete against himself! The most-recent incarnation of Last Chance Kitchen ended with both Lee Anne and Claudette earning their way back into the kitchen. With Tu being the only contestant at the moment in stasis, he’ll have to wait and compete against whoever is eliminated next. One of them could have a chance of reentering the kitchen down the line.
One of the things that CarterMatt is rather interested in seeing this season is what happens in the event someone like Claudette gets eliminated and wins her way back into the kitchen again. Depending on what happens at the end of the show, she could become the first contestant in the history of Top Chef to be eliminated three separate times on a single season. To use a Survivor analogy, she would basically become this show’s version of Ozzy! Not that we’re wishing for Claudette to be eliminated three times — there are few chefs we’ve seen on this show with the capacity to make Mexican cuisine anywhere near as good or as interesting as her.
As for Tu’s chances, at the moment it feels up in the air. He won the very first immunity of the season and with that in mind, he does have a high ceiling. Yet, we’ve also seen him struggle in multiple challenges leading up to his rabbit-three-ways elimination in the snow.
