Heartland season 11 episode 10 video: Where’s Ty? The search begins
What we know is this — at the conclusion of the last episode of Heartland in December, Ty did everything that he could to warn Amy to not show up. He told her that it was too dangerous, but unfortunately she didn’t get the message at the time in which she felt. It’s not until later that she figures out the truth, and when she arrives ready to meet him she learns some terrifying news: He’s missing.
As a result of that, what was meant to be a fairly happy reunion between these two characters quickly devolves into something else entirely: A frantic search party in order to ensure that Ty is found before something else happens to him. The good news for Ty is that knowing Amy, she’s going to stop at nothing in order to ensure that he’s safe. She’s determined, and we certainly know that he is not someone who is going to back down from a fight.
While Heartland may be a show full of great family moments and occasionally uplifting storylines, the truth here is that there are few better cliffhangers than the ones that leave you a little bit worried. The producers clearly want you shaking in your boots coming into this episode, but know this — provided that the two are able to find each other again, the reunion will end up being so much sweeter. This episode is the first of nine coming early this year, so no matter what happens there will be time to unpack it while we await what other storylines are in store for us.
