The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 12 video: Amy, Sheldon test their friends

Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 12 return date

After a delay for the holidays The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 12 is airing on CBS Thursday, January 4 — judging from the preview below, there is a substantial amount of Sheldon – Amy comedy to look forward to!

At the center of the episode is simply this: Questions as to whether or not Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik’s characters are being intentionally misleading when it comes to their motives for the big occasion. They seem to be treating their friends as though they are lab rats in order to test their involvement in the wedding — maybe Sheldon is trying to use science in order to determine who his best man could be? Really, this should be a no-brainer. Provided that he of course wants it, Leonard deserves the honor in turn for how much he has put up with Sheldon and some of his antics over the course of the past several years.

Oh, and the promo below makes another interesting question clear: Is Sheldon getting cold feet? Is it really possible that, for one reason or another, he could end up getting out of his engagement? His potential nervousness here is played up in a comedic fashion, but we do think what he is going through is pretty serious business — provided that he is nervous. We do think that the wedding will happen just because in the event it doesn’t, it will probably be one of the most depressing twists in recent comedy history.

There are some other subjects that The Big Bang Theory does need to address in the next part of the season — after all, we do have the status of Raj and Howard’s relationship. Are they still friends? Are they working together on the same page? We hope that their fight in the bounce-house suddenly managed to shake much of the animosity off of them.
