Ink Master: Angels season 2 will air on Paramount Network this March
In a new video shared by the show’s official Twitter, the latest batch of episodes featuring the Angels is going to be on the upcoming Paramount Network come March. Admittedly, this premiere date is a little earlier than we expected, and as a result of that it makes us ponder over one question more so than any other: Are we going to see the show on at the same time as Ink Master? Season 10 of the flagship tattoo competition starts in early January, and if that is the case it could signify that the second season of Ink Master: Angels is doing something at least marginally different than what we saw during the first go-around.
Ultimately, it is probably too early to speculate too much on the second season of Ink Master: Angels without knowing a whole lot more regarding what it is. The biggest thing that we are is just excited that in its transition over to the Paramount Network from its old home in Spike, nothing is changing in terms of the commitment to the Ink Master brand. After all, it would be rather stupid to do away with it! Year in and year out Ink Master remains one of the most profitable franchises for the network and it has spawned multiple different spin-off shows. It’s also invigorated the careers of many of its artists. When you think about how many artists own their own shops and they’re working within a form of art, this show has basically done for tattooers what Top Chef has done for cooks. What makes Ink Master: Angels interesting as a series is that it puts the focus more on geography and showing real shops as opposed to just throwing people into a set in New York City to conduct challenges.
Also, we should note that the video announcement about the March premiere date for Angels is a very entertaining loop of Kelly Doty shouting for people to stop tattooing.
