Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds mini-marathons among few on December 23
Tonight at 7:00 p.m. Eastern on WGN America, you can check out what will be four straight hours of the Donnie Wahlberg – Tom Selleck series. While these may not be new episodes, what better TV to put on for some last-minute Christmas gift wrapping or pre-baking some holiday treats? While you’re watching a Reagan family dinner, you can be preparing for your own!
Blue Bloods is one of the best shows out there to marathon just because most of the hours stand on their own — you can come in for one episode and understand what is going on, even if you did miss some of what transpired the week prior. You never get altogether confused and there’s all sorts of great stuff worth checking out.
Many of these marathons are one of the reasons why we think Blue Bloods could still have a lot of life left in the tank!
One other notable marathon
If you love Criminal Minds, there is also a marathon happening on WE TV until 1:00 a.m. Eastern on Christmas Eve. This may create visions of nightmares rather than sugar-plums, but maybe you find the heroic actions of the BAU enough to wash some of those bad guys out of your brain.
Meanwhile, you can also opt for a M*A*S*H marathon over on Sundance TV tonight if you prefer some lighter fare; meanwhile, Syfy is going to run a Futurama marathon starting at 11:00 p.m. Eastern if you want to be able to have some laughter right before bed. There are some sporting events scattered across the night, as well.
Later tonight, we’ll paint a broader picture for you as to what some of the marathons are taking place on Christmas Eve. Be on the lookout for some of that news!
