The Blacklist season 5 episode 10 spoilers: Reddington, the Task Force’s future
Well, this episode could be one of the biggest opportunities you have to see where the FBI Task Force is in the wake of the time jump. There’s a reasonably good possibility that quite a bit has changed for them in this span of time, and that’s something that we’ve even written about on a number of occasions. For example, we described some situations that Aram could find himself in now over at the link here. There’s also another interesting component to the Task Force now and that is the status of Raymond Reddington. How does he fit in with the rest of the group, and does he fit in with the rest of the group?
Below, CarterMatt has some more insight on The Blacklist season 5 episode 10 courtesy of the official NBC synopsis — we do like to think that it offers up a little more insight:
01/10/2018 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Wednesday) : When Red (James Spader) directs the Task Force to find a Blacklister who uses his position of power to sell sensitive information, Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) finds himself at risk of exposure. Meanwhile, Liz (Megan Boone) plans her next move. James Carpinello and Alysia Reiner guest star. TV-14 V
What catches our eye in this synopsis more than anything is the inclusion of one Carpinello as a part of the guest cast; effectively, that means that we will be seeing more of Henry Prescott! He’s an interesting character within the world of The Blacklist, a smart, devious man with the capacity to cause a wide array of trouble. He’s also hanging the death of Laurel Hitchin over Ressler and has since the start of the season. His presence in this episode could mean that, even so many months removed from what happened in the first half of the season, he may still be hanging something over him.
If that is in fact the case, we wouldn’t be shocked if Ressler is starting to lose it.
