The Brave episode 10 preview: Dalton’s team suffers a loss
Before we dive too much deeper into this, CarterMatt first wants to share the synopsis for this episode with you:
“01/08/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Monday) : Dalton (Mike Vogel) and what remains of his team try to escape with their lives as they process a devastating loss. Meanwhile in D.C., Patricia (Anne Heche) will stop at nothing to make things right, even if it means putting her career at risk. Also starring Tate Ellington (Noah Morgenthau), Demetrius Grosse (Ezekiel “Preach” Carter), Noah Mills (Joseph “McG” McGuire), Sofia Pernas (Hannah Rivera) and Hadi Tabbal (Amir Al-Raisani).” Guest Starring Shaun Toub (Arthur), Lola Glaudini (Dounia Payet) and Michael Benyaer (Omid).”
During the fall finale, Sergeant Jasmine “Jaz” Khan was taken after a mission went wrong during the last 30 seconds of the hour. Their mission was to take out a terrorist who bombed their base in Turkey, killing many innocent people. The question going into the hour is who is the “devastating loss?” Unfortunately, the only obvious person is Jaz, who was warned that if captured she would be on her own because the U.S. would not claim her. Another obvious reason it could be Jaz is she is not mentioned above in the credits. However, NBC could decide to go in a different direction. Despite Jaz being the one who was captured, the rest of the team has to escape to a safe area and in their pursuit of safety one of the other members could suffer a fatal incident.
In addition to the loss the team will suffer, it appears as though Patricia will take it personally by putting her career on the line. From the looks of it, Patricia feels responsible because the team was following her orders and when the mission went sideways at the last moment. She probably feels that she needs to make things right by getting some sort of justice.
Overall, we can’t wait to see how this plays out! While we know this team has been together for awhile we as audience members haven’t gotten to know these characters that all that well yet, so it will be interesting to see where this will ultimately go. We certainly don’t want to see a character die, but that direction could give us a better idea of who the rest of the characters are on a personal level.
