Blindspot season 3 spoilers: Who is Clem, and when will they appear?

Who is Clem? We know that there are many mysteries at the heart of Blindspot season 3, but getting a chance to see him in the flesh is one mystery we may get to see unfold. While we have some idea as to what happened to Jane during the two-year time jump Clem serves the purpose of filling in some of the cracks. When he turns up you’re going to have a chance to understand more of who he is, but also why he is important to Jane and why she decided to collaborate with him in the first place. All of this will be important as we continue to press on more throughout the season.

If you’re interested in getting a little more news on when Blindspot is going to feature him, all executive producer Martin Gero would confirm per Entertainment Weekly is that he’s someone you are going to get a chance to see within the second half of the season:

“Clem was obviously someone Jane worked with during the two-year time gap … He will play a pivotal role in the back half of the season.”

Basically, Clem is one of those people you should be thinking about even though he’s not always around, as he’s someone with some very specific agendas that are going to come to light. Maybe he turns out to be a help to Jane in the future, but we’re not altogether sure on that. Blindspot has a tendency these days to feature characters who pretend to be your friend, colleague, or even your boss, and then later turn not turn out to be anywhere close to who you thought they were. Just look at Roman or even Hirst this season. These are people who, at least at one point or another, had the trust of some of the show’s main characters. That said trust then later came back to bite them.
