The Fosters season 5 episode 12 spoilers: Stef’s birthday; another rally
Just in case you were wondering, this episode definitely seems to be following up the tradition established by the two episodes that are airing before it during the second half of this season. At the center of the arc is the plight of Ximena, the young woman and friend of Callie and Mariana who is staying in America thanks to DACA. Yet, ICE is trying to take her away and she wants to do everything in her power to ensure that this doesn’t happen. Be prepared over the course of this episode to see Callie do more than just speak out for Ximena with just words — she’s going to take action!
Below, CarterMatt has the full The Fosters season 5 episode 12 synopsis — that’s where you can see more news regarding what is coming up:
Callie and her friends support Ximena in a big way at a conservative anti-immigration rally and get a lot of buzz for Ximena’s plight. Meanwhile, an unlikely source offers a key piece of evidence that may help save Anchor Beach from going private and the family celebrates Stef’s birthday.
There is one storyline in here that should make you raise an eyebrow — the quest to keep Anchor Branch from going private is still happening. When in the world is that going to stop? It’s frustrating to see the Adams Foster family not get a win there, but it’s also probably realistic that it sometimes takes a very long time in order to institute real change. This is something that most people in the real world are more than familiar with; it’s probably frustrating to them when they see things happen at a rapid pace on TV.
Given that there’s so much drama on The Fosters season 5 episode 12 we’d love for there to be a little bit of happiness in the form of Stef’s birthday. Unfortunately, very rarely do things with this family go according to plan. More often than not they go off the rails.
