NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 episode 12 return date for Chris O’Donnell, cast
Like with many other CBS shows, the good news is that the network is not making you wait all that long to see more episodes of the LL Cool J – Chris O’Donnell series. You’ll see the team back in action on Sunday, January 7 for the first of at least two episodes airing in consecutive weeks. Earlier today, we published some details regarding 9×13, an important installment that will feature Sam, Callen, Deeks, and Kensi heading overseas to Vietnam in order to find Hetty — basically, this will kick-start an attempt to resolve one of the biggest storylines of the entire season to date. There are certainly many Linda Hunt fans would would probably like some closure and this installment should provide that.

“Under Pressure” – After napalm is detected at a crime scene, the NCIS team investigates the sole casualty for possible links to terrorism, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, Jan. 7 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Now, you can probably understand why we are spending more time offering up scoop on 9×13 than diving into 9×12 — there really isn’t all that much to get into here. You’ve got napalm at a crime scene and that’s about it. This feels like a pretty standard NCIS: Los Angeles episode on paper; sometimes, we really do think that CBS should step up their promotional game and it least make their episode synopses a little more exciting and varied with some of their press releases.
As for the likely NCIS: Los Angeles schedule ahead, don’t expect too many January episodes. Due to everything from the Grammys to NFL Playoffs / eventually the Super Bowl and the Oscars, CBS tends to give its scripted Sunday shows a long hiatus from late January until March. Expect something similar here, especially with the Winter Olympics also in play this time around. You want NCIS: Los Angeles to air without significant competition in order to best ensure a season 10 renewal. Such a thing seems likely, but we’ve also been very critical of some of the network’s programming decisions to date.
