The Flash season 4: Wentworth Miller filming one more episode
While speaking to fans during a panel discussion at a convention in Germany (thanks to SpoilerTV for the heads up), Miller made it clear that he has one more episode on The Flash that he is filming in January — that he is contractually signed up to do.
As for whether or not Miller is playing the Leonard Snart / Captain Cold we know from Earth-1 or “Leo” from Earth-X (a character much closer to Citizen Cold from the comics), that remains to be seen. It would make sense for it to be Leo only because this character opted to stay behind for a spell after the Crisis on Earth-X crossover event — oh, and also because Leonard Snart is dead and has been since the end of Legends of Tomorrow season 1. There have been some fun ways in which he’s returned since then, including a memorable episode of The Flash where he helped Barry take on King Shark, but his character hasn’t exactly been revived.
Despite saying in the past that these episodes would be the final ones for him as the Snart character, Miller seemed to be more accepting to the idea of coming back in the future. He uttered the words “never say never” when talking about the future, noting that he does love working in Vancouver with the cast and crew. We figure that having his friend and former Prison Break co-star Dominic Purcell up there as Mick Rory probably doesn’t hurt, either.
What about Prison Break?
As CarterMatt reported yesterday, Purcell is saying that a season 6 for that show is in the works — that doesn’t mean that it will come to fruition for sure, but it’s certainly something to keep in mind. If Wentworth works on that show, it doesn’t negate him from appearing within the Arrow-verse in the future. Somehow, he was able to work out some scheduling magic already to where both he and Purcell could do the show on Fox while also being a part of Legends of Tomorrow and other shows.
Do you have a fun way to include Snart on any of these superhero shows coming up? Let us know in the comments!
