Bull season 2 episode 10 sneak peek: Bull forms a surprising bond
At the center of this story is an element that Dr. Jason Bull is not altogether accustomed to working with: Children. He’s not a fan of them. He doesn’t have kids in the office, and he doesn’t seem to have any clue as to what to do when they are around. When he meets Charlotte in the first sneak peek he seems ready to just pawn her off on Marissa. Yet, that’s not something that she is altogether keen on accepting.
So what does Charlotte want? In the press release sent out there in advance for this episode, it looked as though it was a divorce for her parents. However, it now seems as though she wants a divorce from her parents. She doesn’t want to be around them anymore and feels as though Dr. Bull is the best way to help resolve that problem. There are unfortunately two different issues present here:
1. Bull is not a lawyer. Therefore, even if he wanted to help her, he’d have to assign Benny to it or find someone else more qualified for what it is specifically that she wants.
2. There is no way to legally do this. In order to be legally emancipated from your parents in New York City you have to be 16 years old. Charlotte is not anywhere close to that.
Despite of how crazy all of this seems, it does appear as though we’re going to see Bull form a bond with the little girl — she’s intelligent beyond her years and we have to think that there’s some sort of reason for her doing this that is beyond just her wanting to run away from her parents. All signs point towards this being an especially fun episode, one that breaks the mold somewhat of the typical Bull case. If nothing else, this should get us more in the holiday spirit due to it airing in the most wonderful time of the year.
Also, maybe it opens Bull up to the idea of fatherhood, something that he clearly hasn’t spent a whole lot of time exploring in his life. (We just want to know how the photo above happens.)
