Scorpion season 4 episode 12 preview: A different sort of Christmas
Based on the Scorpion season 4 episode 12 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below, it looks as though the series is taking a page from It’s a Wonderful Life and some of the other classic Christmas movies that are out there:
“A Christmas Car-Roll” – On Christmas Eve, when Walter chooses work over spending quality time with his friends, he falls down the stairs and hits his head, and as he lays unconscious, he enters a dream world where Team Scorpion never existed, on SCORPION, Monday, Dec. 18 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
We have to imagine that the photo above is before the dream world comes to fruition, since how else would all of these characters be together? One of the things that makes Team Scorpion so interesting is that it features characters from so many different walks of life — they’re certainly never people who would have come across each other in any other way. Think in terms of someone like Paige and then Walter O’Brien, or even someone like Cabe who doesn’t have anything in common superficially with many of these characters. The dynamic and the conflicts are a big part of what makes Scorpion fun, so seeing what these characters’ lives are like without it could prove rather sad.
Still, despite that we have a hard time thinking that this episode is going to be a sad one. It’s the last one for Scorpion in 2017 and it should give you a reminder or two as to how much you like some of these characters — it should also feel different than most other episodes, which typically feature a central mission that puts the lives of a character or two in grave danger.
New episodes will resume on the other side of this in 2018, and we imagine we’ll have some more news about them over the holiday break.
