Madam Secretary season 4 episode 10 preview: Daisy’s return; Henry’s plan

Madam Secretary season 4 episode 10 is airing on CBS in one week’s time, and it’s a big one — after all, it’s the final episode this year. We’ve seen these characters go through a lot this year in between arrivals, departures, and significant drama both in the State Department and outside of it. We don’t anticipate that the finale is going to be any different, but there are a few specific things to look forward to.

Take, for example, the return of Daisy from her maternity leave! Beyond that, you’re also going to be seeing Henry and Dimitri working together, which we absolutely find entertaining — that’s especially so when you think about the storyline for Dimitri and Henry as of late. The more complicated you make some of these relationships on this show the better off it’s ultimately going to be.

“Women Transform the World” – Secretary of State McCord struggles with the realization that she may need to advise the Afghan government that a compromise with the Taliban may be better than a war with them. Also, Henry uses Dmitri as bait to convince a Russian spy to help the U.S., and Daisy returns from maternity leave and decides to finally tell Joe’s mother about the baby, on MADAM SECRETARY, Sunday, Dec. 17 (10:30-11:30 PM ET/10:00-11:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Following Madam Secretary season 4 episode 10 and the hiatus in late December, you should get a chance to see the show return with a few more installments come January. After that, the series will take a hiatus for a wide array of things coming in the month of February / early March, whether it be NFL football, the Grammys, the Olympics, or the Oscars. This is something that many a Madam Secretary fan should be accustomed to at this point given that we’ve seen it time and time again. We just hope that everyone continues to watch live — we’re optimistic right now about the show’s season 5 future but nothing is assured.
