The Exorcist season 2 finale spoilers: Andy’s life in jeopardy
The Exorcist season 2 finale is going to air on Friday, December 15 and based on some of what we’re hearing about now, lives are in jeopardy. We’ve seen characters do everything that they can in order to exorcise the demons and change some lives, but with work this dangerous (and this creepy) comes a heavy cost. It feels as though not everyone is going to be getting out of this episode alive.
CarterMatt has for you below the full Exorcist season 2 finale synopsis, and this gives you a reasonably good idea regarding what is coming up next:
Everything has led to this moment. As one priest fights for his life in the hospital, another is forced to confront the ghosts of his past. With time running out to save Andy’s life, one of the exorcists must make the ultimate sacrifice in the all-new “Unworthy” Season Two finale episode of THE EXORCIST airing Friday, Dec. 15 (9:01-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (EXO-210) (TV-14 D, L, V)
If that doesn’t get your hair standing on end for the end of the season and this chapter of the story, what will? The thing to remember with The Exorcist is that it is an anthology story more so than anything, so the season 2 finale is likely going to provide enough closure to satisfy. Whether or not there is a third season of the show is something we won’t find out likely until spring — we’re not incredibly optimistic, but you have to hold out hope and think that another season is possible — after all, just remember that there was a time when not everyone was altogether optimistic that there was going to be a second season of the show. We do think the brand brings with it some international viability and that goes along way towards helping it stay on the air a little while longer. (We’ll take a larger look at The Exorcist season 2 ratings when we get closer to the finale airing.)
