Chicago Med season 3 episode 4 preview: The fall finale; Dr. Charles’ risk

Chicago Med season 3 episode 4 is coming onto NBC on Tuesday, December 15, and this marks an important event for the show: The fall finale. It’s also possible that this installment will be Christmas-themed! The title here is “Naughty or Nice” and as this story progresses, we are going to get a chance to see more of what Dr. Charles is going to do in order to help patients in need. It’s too bad that a big part of it may have to deal with the aftermath of his shooting. That’s an issue that has been there since the start of the season as he’s harbored a lot of guilt over how he handled his treatment.

12/12/2017 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : DR. CHARLES PUTS HIS LIFE ON THE LINE TO HELP A PATIENT – Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) learns a troubling fact about the man who shot him. Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) and Dr. Bekker (Norma Kuhling) come to an agreement during a complicated surgery. Will (Nick Gehlfuss) and Natalie (Torrey DeVitto) are trapped by legal ethics when an unfaithful husband refuses to tell his wife about his inconclusive Zika test. Meanwhile, April (Yaya DaCosta) and Noah (guest star Roland Buck III) discover working together isn’t always easy while Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) continues to argue with the board over hospital costs after an avoidable patient death. Marlyne Barrett, Brian Tee and Rachel DiPillo also star. Marina Squerciati, Elias Koteas and Eddie Jemison guest star.

As for some of the stories that are coming up that excite us, we’re a little intrigued about the idea of Rhodes and Bekker working together given that this is something that we haven’t seen that much of so far this season. (We’ve seen them so much more at odds.) Meanwhile, seeing Noah and April actually working together should be fun too, and the story with Goodwin seems to be a direct continuation of the storyline for her tonight. Sometimes, it is very difficult being the boss.
