MacGyver season 2 episode 11 spoilers: A Christmas party and Bruce McGill

MacGyver season 2 episode 11 is coming your way on Friday, December 15, and this episode should bring you some holiday cheer! It’s the final episode of the year for the Lucas Till series on CBS, and it makes sense for the show to go out with a bang.

Unfortunately, there won’t be many tidings of comfort and joy for some of the show’s characters — especially MacGyver himself, given that he finds himself (seemingly) wrongfully accused over the course of the hour. For more, CarterMatt has for you the MacGyver season 2 episode 11 synopsis below:

“Bullet + Pen” – The LAPD interrupts the team’s Christmas celebration to arrest Mac for terrorism when they find a body in a building destroyed by a bomb Mac built, on MACGYVER, Friday, Dec. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Bruce McGill, who played Jack Dalton in the original “MacGyver” series, guest stars as Detective James Greer from the LAPD.

The appearance of McGill in the winter finale is something that’s been teased for a rather long time and we think that this is going to be a lot of fun to watch. Unfortunately, we may also be spending a good percentage of this episode struggling to figure out what is transpiring with MacGyver and if there’s a way for him to get out of this position unscathed. We should mention that this is far from the first time that a main character on a crime / action series has been accused of a significant crime — that’s a pretty common trope (in fact it’s happening with Cabe right now on Scorpion). What MacGyver could end up doing to make this episode different is find some unique ways to expand upon it. That includes either a different resolution to the case or finding some interesting twists and turns as the story transpires.

Following this episode we’ll be waiting until January, at the earliest, for more MacGyver. Who wants to bet that what Mac is going through has something to do with Murdoc? Anytime something bad happens to anyone on the Phoenix Foundation that is often our go-to.
