Watching Ellen’s 12 Days of Giveaways? Great Christmas Light Fight, Deck The Wall
Watching Ellen’s 12 Days of Giveaways?
Ellen DeGeneres is offering up some epic gifts once again with Ellen’s 12 Days of Giveaways. Are you watching? So far, this season, I’ve met eight people who have been invited and were gifted from this extraordinary event. Excited to be part of the action, they have come home with some great gifts and wonderful stories. You don’t need to be invited to enjoy the action. Watching the segments on TV is a wonderful way to see what is currently being given away and a great place to get some new gift ideas.
The Great Christmas Light Fight 2017
The houses around the neighborhood are always lit up around the holidays. Rivals among the neighbors to see who has the best light display aren’t just for the locals anymore. Monday night’s The Great Christmas Light Fight 2017 on ABC takes the good old-fashioned idea of being the best lit house in the neighborhood to a whole new level. It’s almost as if colorful bulbs are strung on every surface to light up the house, the sky and even the snow. You can’t help but feel jolly after watching this wonderful show and it’s obvious that some folks go all out during the holidays leaving the rest of the world feeling joyful that they get to see the display (but aren’t living on that block).
Deck The Wall – A Christmas themed The Wall episode
Watching promos for The Wall, viewers got a taste of how this game show is getting into the holiday season. Calling the episode Deck The Wall, the cool game show is giving away some holiday cash with plenty of people looking to win big. Using red and green balls, the luck of the contestants could mean a bigger, better holiday this season. With the flash of the big Christmas tree on the game board seen in the commercials, it’s going to be fun. Kinda makes you wish that The Wall would cater the game to other themes as well to make the fans even more excited.
Why are there so many stars on The Carol Burnett 50th Anniversary Special?
Carol Burnett is a TV icon and a master of comedy, so her 50th Anniversary Special on Sunday night was a not a moment to miss. However, after all the hoopla and reflection, one has to ponder why so many stars, not related to the show, were on the couch next to this legend. Some of the celebrities looked more like fan girls and it was painfully obvious they didn’t really have a connection. While others, who should have had a bigger part, seemed to have just a small portion. Overall, it was Carol that people tuned in to watch and the final moments of the show reminded us all how this legend gave her best to the TV world.
