When will The X Factor season 15 premiere on ITV?

x factor season 15 premeire

Following tonight’s finale, when will The X Factor season 15 premiere on ITV? We understand this being a question for hopefuls and viewers alike!

Over the past few years, the network has established a trend with the singing show premiering in the late summer / early fall and running until close to Christmas. We don’t see that changing at any point in the near future. This is a time period that works well for the show and it’s separated from some of the other talent competitions that are out there in between Britain’s Got Talent and The Voice UK.

The biggest problem that the show has is relevancy, and that’s still not something that they have figured out. We’ve felt for years like The X Factor has a tone problem and, regardless if Simon Cowell or the producers see it, that still exists. We do enjoy some of the oddities of this show, including some of the over-the-top stage presentations and Louis Walsh as a judge. Yet, none of it is relevant for 2017. This is a show that needs to be doing more in the event that it wants young viewers to think that this is a place that a relevant star to be born. Meanwhile, more still needs to be done to let the artists be artists and make the show feel a little less like a big studio machine. Make the series edgier, give people something to talk about beyond the generic covers, and let these artists be more of who they are. Let them craft some of their own stories and have them be the ones who help to author their own stories. Regardless of how many producers and songwriters you put around someone, it’s going to be the individual artists’ work ethics that carry the day.

The X Factor season 15 needs to be fun, personal, and a different sort of reality TV experience. We just hope that ITV takes a long look at the show so that they can stop all of the negative headlines about ratings. Turn the buzz in a positive direction instead.
