Curb Your Enthusiasm season 10 renewal: Will it happen on HBO?
Here is what CarterMatt knows: Tonight is the season 9 finale, and HBO at this point has an open arrangement with series star Larry David. They’re not going to force him to do more of the show; instead, they will allow him to come back and be a part of the show whenever he wants to do so. They are not going to rush him into making more of the show. Curb Your Enthusiasm hasn’t gotten as much critical praise this year as it has in some years past, but at the same time it is commercially successful and Larry David is always going to court attention.
We don’t foresee a Curb Your Enthusiasm season 10 coming in the near future, but who knows a few years from now? There was a time when we thought that the show wasn’t going to be back at all; the fact that we got a season 10 in the first place is a blessing in itself.
As for where you could see Larry David while you wait, it’s possible that he will return to the stage. Ever since he came back to Saturday Night Live (he was a writer many years before) in the role of Bernie Sanders, we’ve seen his career spike up in a resurgence. It appears as though David is happy to be in the spotlight once more and that this is something that he is going to probably continue to embrace in the weeks to come. Maybe that means movies, or maybe that means another season of Curb Your Enthusiasm down the line. No matter when the show comes back, we have a hard time imagining that the series will be altogether different. While many things in the world do change, Larry David and his general curmudgeon demeanor seem to almost-constantly stay the same.
