Poldark season 4 photo: A new behind-the-scenes Aidan Turner tease

Poldark season 4 photo

Let’s face it — any behind-the-scenes Poldark season 4 photo is one worth checking out, and that includes the new one below!

After all, we do think that there is something very interesting about this image, which features Ross Poldark (Aidan Turner) alongside Pascoe (Richard Hope). Does anyone else think that Ross is a little more clean-shaven than we’re used to seeing him? This is a rugged man, someone who is much more intent at times sewing the fields (often shirtless) or rescuing his friends from certain death. Yet, he is a man who now has to face a different sort of future for himself. For the longest time, Ross didn’t embrace the concept of getting into politics — while Demelza did not force him into it per se, she did nudge him heavily in that direction over time.

While we don’t want to give too much away here, Poldark season 4 will be set more in the city than some of the seasons before it, though the culture and the overall feel of the first three seasons will still be left intact. We’re jumping forward in time and with that, it’s possible that Ross may be far more immersed into politics than he was at one point. That’s a great thing for those of you who are interested in seeing him take on a new role. Also, it’s a great thing for those who do want to continue to see him go toe to toe with George Warleggan. A big part of what could be making the upcoming season of the series so great is seeing these two guys battle it out in order to determine who is the real metaphorical ruler of Cornwall — Ross doesn’t have the ingenuity of someone like George but to some he does have a lot of heart. George’s education is mostly in finding out ways to better help himself.

Poldark season 4 is still more than six months away no matter where you live — fun as this photo is and as fun as it may be to speculate, you’ve still got a long time to wait.
