When is Bachelor Winter Games filming — and where?
In a new post on Twitter (see below) via none other than the rose-master himself in Chris Harrison, this spin-off series is going to have its arrival celebration on Tuesday, December 5 in Manchester, Vermont. The show is filming in the surrounding area, and there will be a parade at the main street of the city starting at around 9:00 a.m. Eastern time.
We imagine that this first parade is going to be both incredibly entertaining and also incredibly ridiculous, mostly because there will be just a tiny slice of contestants in comparison to who you see on the actual Olympics. We’re equating this to the Parade of Nations. The bummer here is that there are still very few cast members confirmed for the show — we know that there are international contestants taking part to go along with some familiar faces from the USA. This is likely to air opposite the real Olympics as a way to keep ABC from losing too many viewers during that time period. (Also, it spares them potentially losing viewers from some of their other programming.)

For the hundreds of millions wondering, #TheBachelor Winter Games is a combo of BIP and an Olympic parody— with a little Bachelor Pad mixed in. Romance and athletic competitions in a snow-covered paradise in Vermont.
Make no mistake — Bachelor Winter Games is complete filler. Yet, it could be wildly entertaining filler. Sometimes the most ridiculous concepts end up being the most entertaining. Remember when ABC started up more than a decade ago a reality show featuring D-list celebrities learning how to ballroom dance? Whoever thought that would be a thing? Now, Dancing with the Stars is an integral part of our TV viewing experience and there aren’t many other shows out there quite like it.
