This Is Us season 2 episode 11 return date for Milo Ventimiglia, cast
The good news here is that compared to some other holiday hiatuses, the wait here is not as long as it is with some other shows. NBC will be bringing back the Milo Ventimiglia series starting on Tuesday, January 2 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. From there, you’re going to get a chance to see new episodes every Tuesday for the remainder of the month. The show will go off the air in early February for the Winter Olympics (no one wants to go up against that), and then after that it will wrap things up for the remainder of season 2. This Is Us operates under a slightly-smaller episode order than the majority of the other network shows out there.
As you start to look towards the long-term future of This Is Us there is nothing to be worried about. NBC already renewed the series for a season 3, and that is going to air starting in the fall. Beyond that, it feels pretty clear that This Is Us is the sort of show that is going to last however long the cast and the producers want it to. There’s a possibility that we could get a season 4 renewal early next year, provided that the network wants the team to have advance notice that far in advance on the show’s future.
We do imagine that NBC is going to be releasing some more news on the future of This Is Us season 2 over the coming weeks, and that’s something to look forward to. Granted, there are also quite a few things that we are also dreading, and that includes worrying about Kevin. His addiction problems led to him asking for some help via Randall, but Randall doesn’t know the full story. He interrupted with news on Kate’s miscarriage. We imagine that for all of the Big Three, there are some more trials and tribulations ahead — hopefully, there will also be some opportunities for a few victories. This show is at its best when there is some sort of balance.
