Happy Black Friday, Shadowhunters fans! While many of you may now be starting to get your post-turkey coma energy back, some of the videos below may throw you right back into the Thanksgiving spirit.
In these videos, you can listen to stars Katherine McNamara, Harry Shum Jr., Dominic Sherwood, Matthew Daddario, and many others share some memories and well-wishes for this special time of year. It’s a nice dose of Shadowhunters fun and a great chance to see what some of these actors are thinking about this time of year.
It’s also a rather nice gift to all the viewers from the fine folks at Freeform — this sort of thing takes so much more time than you would imagine since it requires coordination and making sure that they have the foresight to get something like this together in advance — they are all super-busy at the moment in the process of filming the third season.
Hopefully, we’ll get lucky and there will be some more Shadowhunters videos coming out around Christmas to go along with this. Freeform has to know that fans are going to get impatient here and there given that we’re in the midst of a super-long hiatus! The most-recent batch of episodes ended months ago and we’re now waiting until April to see the show return.
When will some more Shadowhunters details start to become available?
Think along the lines of February or March most likely, which is when the network will start to get together everything from the latest synopses and teasers. There were a few details released at New York Comic-Con this fall, but the powers that be at the network know that it’s pretty hard to expect anyone to wait from October all the way to April with no other details out there.
Also, it behooves Freeform to reminder viewers that Shadowhunters is still out there, which is probably one of the reasons why these videos were created in the first place.
