CBS has released a new Hawaii Five-0 season 8 cast photo — while this many not ease the fact that there is no new episode tonight, it’s certainly a welcome Black Friday gift nonetheless! It’s been a while since we had a cast photo this good, and it makes sense that now would be the time in which we get it given that there have been so many changes with the series over the past couple of years.
This photo features the arrival of new Five-0 team members such as Meaghan Rath (Tani) and Beulah Koale (Junior Reigns), but to go along with that you’ve also got familiar faces Ian Anthony Dale (Adam), Taylor Wily (Kamekona), Dennis Chun (Sgt. Duke Lukela), and Kimee Balmilero (Dr. Noelani Cunha). These new/returning favorites join established series stars in Alex O’Loughlin (McGarrett), Scott Caan (Danny), Chi McBride (Grover), and Jorge Garcia (Jerry).
Then, you’ve also got Eddie the Dog worked in here! The dog was an instant fan favorite when he first appeared on the show, right when you thought that McGarrett couldn’t get any more likable. Eddie’s now shown up in a few episodes and his inclusion in the cast photo basically means that you’re going to be seeing a whole lot more of him this season. It’s always nice when animals are included in the cast photos as part of the family.
As great as this cast photo is we know that there are some out there who are just eager to get some more news on the show itself. For some of you, know that Hawaii Five-0 will return to CBS with new episodes in one week’s time. The December 1 episode is going to feature O’Loughlin in a big way as Steve goes undercover as a pilot. Be sure to read our full preview for that now over at the link here. We’re still pretty early on in the season so there’s a lot of great stuff still to come. There’s also a Christmas episode that will be coming at some point next month.
