Macy’s Parade 2017: Colin Donnell on Chicago Med season 3

For everyone out there who loves Chicago Med, don’t you have to love seeing Colin Donnell at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade the morning? The actor showed up there alongside his wife and former series star Patti Murin, and there was a brief discussion as to where things are on the show and where they are set to go with parade co-host Al Roker — though to be honest, there’s not much that was revealed that was all that much of a spoiler.

With that being said, Donnell did pass along a funny quip when Roker asked him if there was any sort of desire he has to be a doctor based on some of the work that he’s doing on the show:

“I don’t think so. I think everyone’s going to be [happier if] I don’t. We’ll leave it to the professionals.”

So what is actually going to be happening coming up for Donnell’s Connor Rhodes on Chicago Med this season? In terms of his personal life, there is still something that needs to be worked out with Robyn Charles — unfortunately, we’re not that optimistic as to the pair’s future given that Mekia Cox is now a regular over on Once Upon a Time.

Professionally, Rhodes has a new thorn in his side in Dr. Ava Bekker — she’s a woman who is very much accomplished in terms of what she brings to the table as a doctor, and her ambition causes her to be a little bit of a challenge for the rest of the doctors and nurses in the process. That’s especially true for Rhodes, simply because of the fact that the two are going to find themselves clashing on several different cases. We’ve already seen this on one occasion, but we’re far from the end of the road in this department.

New episodes of Chicago Med are going to continue airing on NBC on Tuesday nights following This Is Us — be sure to keep checking them out live! We want to see the show be on its way to a season 4 renewal.
