As if the idea of meeting Lucifer’s new nemesis was not exciting in its own right, the producers have uncovered what we like to think of as a rather ingenuous way of upping the ante — after all, we have learned that it is none other than Kevin Carroll of The Leftovers who is playing The Sinnerman. Not only are you getting a chance to have a great villain on this show, but you have someone who should be able to effectively tackle any exciting material that is thrown in his direction. Carroll is a fantastic actor, someone who has shown to be great at playing dark drama and also relatable characters. In the midst of this super-exaggerated world with all of these Biblical figures roaming about, he may somehow be able to inject some humanity while also play a fairly-inhumane man.
