Quick Hits: Fuller House season 3 return news; Felicia Day joins The Magicians season 3; Beyond teaser

Fuller House season 3

Let’s begin today’s edition of CarterMatt’s TV Quick Hits with a little more information regarding Fuller House season 3 and one big question — when’s it back?

The Netflix comedy is one of the streaming service’s biggest shows, and of course with that there’s enthusiasm for more. The streaming service also clearly realizes that there is enthusiasm to watch a show like this over the holidays, when families are back together and there’s not a whole lot of new programming airing on TV.

With that, the Instagram post below confirming the show’s December return for the second half of the season is no shock. This will give Netflix (and the show’s viewers) something fun to watch over the holidays.

As for the future beyond season 3? Well as of right now it mostly feels like Fuller House can and will last however the cast and crew want it to. There’s no reason to start slowing it down.

As for some other news of the day…

Felicia Day joins The Magicians season 3

Who wouldn’t want to see someone as amazing as Day on one of the best Syfy shows out there? It seems like a pretty perfect match!

Per a report from Nerdist, Day is going to be appearing in a major role in the third season as Poppy, who should be pretty familiar to folks out there who have read the source material. She also had the following to say on the subject in a statement:

“I am thrilled to join The Magicians this season. The show is one of my favorites, the cast is incredible to work with, and showrunner, Sera Gamble, is one of my Hollywood heroes. I can’t wait for fans to meet Poppy!”

Many people out there best know Day from her work on The Guild, but she has also appeared in several episodes of Supernatural in the role of Charlie — we don’t want to say too much more on that just because we miss Charlie and are still super-bummed about what happened to her.

Beyond teaser

If you are excited to see the Freeform series back on the air then check out the latest teaser we have for you below. It doesn’t offer much in the way of scoop, but it definitely gets the hype started.
