Scorpion season 4 episode 8 spoilers: Fun at a Renaissance Faire

When Scorpion season 4 episode 8 airs later this month on CBS, you will see the team do something they should’ve done a while ago. Of course, we are talking about visiting a Renaissance Faire! How has this not happened yet? There are numerous characters on this show who feel right at home here, and the idea of forcing Walter to get into character sounds both hilarious and impossible.

The difficulties of Walter being at the Faire seem to actually be one of the major issues in the episode entitled “Faire is Foul” — check out the synopsis CarterMatt has for you below to see what’s coming up:

“Faire is Foul” – For Sylvester’s birthday, Team Scorpion visits a renaissance festival, but the revelry is cut short when a group tries to rob a nearby police evidence locker. Also, Paige grows weary of Walter’s play-by-play of all the historical inaccuracies at the festival, on SCORPION, Monday, Nov. 13 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

If we could just have one wish for the Scorpion gods to grant, it is that the vast majority of this episode takes place at the Faire, if for no other reason than that Sylvester tries to stop the robbery while remaining in character. The idea of Walter annoying Paige with his commentary feels like exactly the sort of thing he would do, given that we all know someone who goes to these fun sorts of events and then makes a total fool of themselves in the process. Actually, we should augment this slightly — we all know somebody who goes to these sort of events and tries to stump the people working there on medieval trivia, as though this makes them somehow more awesome instead of a giant tool trying to ruin people’s day their jobs. Anyhow…

While every episode of Scorpion may have some funny moments and action-packed sequences, this one far and away seems like it will be a favorite.
