Once Upon a Time season 7 spoilers: Zelena’s daughter to be played by Riverdale actress
According to a new report from TVLine, Riverdale actress Tiera Skovbye has been cast in the role of Robin, Zelena’s grown-up daughter that she had with Robin Hood earlier in the series run. When are you going to meet her? Think along the lines of the 10th episode of season 7. This is going to be the last episode of the show airing this year, so with that in mind you have to expect that there are going to be some really cool stories packed in here to keep you interested during the hiatus.
It’s been a long time since we saw Zelena on the show, so she has probably changed quite a bit from her previous appearance. Is she still Wicked? Does she still have jealousy towards Regina? Does she even really know Regina anymore? There are about a billion different questions you can ask based on where the story has gone with the new setting and with there being such a significant jump in time. Time moves differently in each realm, and we’ve seen that played out in several ways.
One of the other interesting things about Zelena’s daughter on Once Upon a Time is that she is going to be a love interest for somebody. One of the interesting possibilities out there at the moment is that there is an LGBTQ story coming up at some point this season. It’s certainly possible that she could be one of the people involved.
What Once Upon a Time needs to do more than anything else right now is just find a way to stop the bleeding a little bit. The ratings for this past season were some of the weakest to date, and there needs to be something done to spark up interest in the show again — especially on Friday nights. There’s been plenty of evidence out there already that this is not the easiest night of the week to air a show, especially one with a pretty prominent family audience.
For the time being, CarterMatt is excited to meet Zelena’s daughter! It is a way to mix things up slightly and hopefully drive a little bit more talk about the show after this past episode, which was both super-important to the relationship between Belle and Rumpelstiltskin, but also certainly rather sad.
