SEAL Team episode 6 spoilers: What’s next of David Boreanaz, cast?

SEAL Team new

Is SEAL Team new tonight on CBS? We really wish it was. After all, we’re entering the month of November sweeps and this is a time where we get a lot of really great episodes and more people curled up on their couches watching. The weather is getting colder, and that means fewer people are going outside and doing other things. Perfect TV watching weather!

So what’s holding back SEAL Team from airing tonight? It’s the World Series. The Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros are playing game 7 tonight on Fox. With that comes a wide array of viewers all over the country. There’s just not going to be a lot of viewers that will be tuning in for much else. Even though SEAL Team does have a full season order courtesy of CBS, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they want to compromise the audience that they’ve been building. They need to keep their ratings as strong as humanly possible for a potential season 2 renewal down the line. For the time being we consider the David Boreanaz series to be somewhat on the bubble unless the viewership picks up, so this was a good move on CBS’ part.

So what’s coming up when SEAL Team returns to CBS next week? If you look below, you can check out the SEAL Teams episode 6 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you:

“Borderlines” – Jason and the SEAL Team must rescue an undercover CIA operative after she is captured by radical terrorists to be used as a bargaining chip. Also, Clay undergoes the final harrowing exercise for his candidacy into Tier One, on SEAL TEAM, Wednesday, Nov. 8 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Is this enough to get you excited for SEAL Team episode 6? We hope so. There is still a week to go in between episodes and it’d be easy to forget about what happened between now and then. In looking beyond the episode, one of the biggest things to look forward to the rest of the season is seeing how the writers find a way to mix things up. With a procedural you have to deal with the constant fear of being lost in a sea of sameness. If you do the same story time and time again there’s a chance that viewers could bail.
