Bull season 2 episode 7 spoilers: ‘No Good Deed’ and a cheating scandal
The title for this upcoming episode is “No Good Deed” (as referenced in the title of this article), and that ties back perfectly into the case. You can read more about that by looking at the attached synopsis CarterMatt has for you below:
“No Good Deed” – Bull is asked to help a teachers union represent a woman who is being prosecuted by the DA for helping an impoverished student pass an important test, but who may be the scapegoat for a larger cheating scandal, on BULL, Tuesday, Nov. 7 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Bull season 2 episode 7 is going to be a tough episode for the jury, mostly because it is once more about the letter of the law than the spirit of it. Can Bull construct a jury that will buy into the argument that cheating, (in this case) is beneficial? Is that undermined by the aforementioned larger cheating scandal? The best Bull cases are the ones where he and Benny can create an emotional argument for the jury and lead with that; given that it may be rather hard to defend their client from an innocence/guilt perspective, they may have to find another way around it.
The only concern that we have going into this episode is one tied to the show simply creating such a high standard for itself as of late with some really good, fascinating sideplots. We’ve gotten to know some of the supporting cast better now that we’ve spent more time with them and with that, hopefully the pattern holds and CBS is keeps those stories coming. To date some of the best sideplots include Danny James’ personal life / what she’s fighting for and getting a sense of what Marissa in love looks like. That’s been much of a whirlwind for her simply because she is not the sort of person who has had an opportunity to experience real love like this before. It’s fun and somewhat innocent, and we can only hope that it doesn’t come crashing down on her.
