The Flash season 4 photo: Emily Bett Rickards stops by for Iris’ bachelorette party!

Iris' bachelorette party

Next month on The Flash season 4, you will have a chance to see Iris’ bachelorette party during the super-fun-in-theory episode “Girls Night Out.” Today, CarterMatt is bringing you a new photo all about the bachelorette party and it helps to shine a light on what we can expect.

The image above is one of the first photos officially revealed for this episode and while fun is on the docet for these ladies you should also expect a wide array of interesting twists and turns. On paper, it looks like it will be all fun and games as Iris has a chance to unwind and relax. You don’t get many opportunities in life to enjoy a bachelorette party (especially your own!) and she should really make the most of every possible moment. This can be said all the more given everything that she’s gone through — including losing her fiance to the speed force for many months on end and then nearly dying at the end of season 3 because of Savitar and his terrifying prophecy.

Of course, there is likely some bad news coming Iris’ way during this episode — nothing on The Flash comes easy. It’s great to see Emily Bett Rickards stopping by as Felicity Smoak and we’re sure that the party will be a rather good time. Then, things will slowly spiral out of control.

What could be at the focal point of some of the episode’s chaos? Think about Amunet Black (Katee Sackhoff), a woman with significant ties to Caitlin Snow’s past over the hiatus. This is her first appearance on the show, and you can read a little bit more about that by heading over to the link here. It’s necessary that we meet this character eventually — she’s already been teased as a part of the show, and as a result of that it’d be a shame if we didn’t get a chance to actually see her in action.

No matter what transpires in “Girls Night Out” or with Iris’ bachelorette party, signs point to it not playing a significant role in stopping the WestAllen wedding from happening. Based on the promotional material out there this will be a part of the upcoming crossover between all of the various CW shows — it will contain plenty of romance, but also some significant twists. After all, this is what happens when you start introducing Earth-X and who are effectively evil versions of many of the established characters. The crossover episodes will air as a set of two-hour events over two nights, and we know that they recently wrapped filming on this after a series of long, exhausting days. This is what happens when you are doing four different episodes at the same exact time!

What do you want to see from Iris’ bachelorette party?

Also, how much of it do you actually think she will get to enjoy before the you-know-what hits the fan? Sound off in the comments section below.
