Lucifer season 3 episode 6 preview: Lucifer, Ella in Las Vegas

Want to have a good time in Las Vegas with Lucifer and Ella? Well, all signs point to Lucifer season 3 episode 6 being a golden opportunity to be a part of all the fun. If you wanted to see Aimee Garcia get some more screen time, she’ll have it here in the episode entitled “Vegas with Some Radish.”

When Lucifer discovers his ex-fake-wife, Candy (guest star Lindsay Gort), has gone missing, he hightails it to Las Vegas with Ella in tow. Together, the two of them work to find her, but interesting secrets are revealed along the way that could compromise the investigation. Meanwhile, Chloe is upset that Lucifer left on her birthday, so Linda tries to lift her spirits in the all-new “Vegas With Some Radish” episode of LUCIFER airing Monday, Nov. 6 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX

So what makes this episode interesting? In terms of interesting factoids, a great place to start here is the fact that this episode was actually filmed all the way back at the end of last season. It was done thinking that it may air at some point during season 3, and based on what we’re seeing it seems like Lucifer is front-loading part of season 3 with some of these standalone installments.

It’s not that we really mind that, just because we do think that standalone episodes can be really great if you make them really interesting, emotional, and creative (just think back to Breaking Bad’s episode “Fly” as one of the greatest stand alone episodes ever made). We think it’s almost become thought of as something dirty or wrong over the years and that’s just not true. There is a lot of joy that can be gotten out of these isolated adventures. They even more perfect for people who just want to sit back and enjoy a story without any context (helps bring in new viewers that want a taste of what a show is like without getting lost). We’ll see how this one plays out, but we have high hopes.

For those wondering, there is an episode of Lucifer on November 13 that is also a standalone — just like we said, these are standalones.
