Criminal Minds season 13 spoilers: ‘Dust and Bones’ and ‘Neon Terror’
We all know that CBS is not typically very forthcoming when it comes to releasing insight on some of their episodes in advance. As a result of that, the network is continuing to be coy about the two episodes we’re spotlighting here. Nonetheless, we do at least have some insight/analysis both in terms of their titles and the bare essence of the what the UnSub looks to be up to in both of these episodes. Take a look below.
“Dust and Bones” (November 8) – “The BAU searches for an unsub in Austin, Texas who is targeting prominent members of the community, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Nov. 8 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”
This episode could be scary but also interesting – for now we want to say that it seems pretty straightforward. There are a wide array of reasons why an UnSub would be willing to go after known people within the community — they could have a personal vendetta, or beyond that they may just want to be able to do anything and everything in their power to assert dominance and throw the community into chaos.
Maybe the title in this instance is some sort of clue as to where some of these people are going to be found? It’s possible.
“Neon Terror” (November 15) – “When an UnSub in Miami sensationalizes his crimes by giving the local media exclusive footage, the BAU is called in to investigate, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Nov. 15 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”
Is “Neon Terror” one of the cooler episodes titles that we’ve seen in our years covering Criminal Minds? We have a hard time disputing that. It certainly does a good job spelling out some of the dangers that come with having your name in lights. This episode could end up proving to be an epic take-down of the media just as much as it is some sort of massive indictment on the UnSub — sometimes local media needs to be responsible rather than just jumping to sensationalism for the sake of ensuring that they get what they want (which is usually higher ratings).

The writers we’re messing up criminal minds too. They were concentrating on personal things with the characters instead of criminals. Its all about their individual B and S. This is a crime show, not a soap opera. Getting rid of hotch was the most idiotic thing they’ve done. But, looking back all the way around not many of them have much for brains. JJ and Emily, big mistake. If we want hotch back you go to the advertisers. They lose money and back off sponsoring a show. Let’s see what happens next. Their all a bunch of f ups.

What I would like to see and other avid fans of Thomas Gibson is to see him back in charge of the BAU. Even though producers and writers will not admit it, his stoic, concerned, and patriarch demeanour made Criminal Minds worth watching. No one knows what happened. I get that there is a great deal more to just saying, “Ok. He can come back.” There has been no room for even trying or speaking of it nor of him in general. We, as fans, know you owe us nothing. That is obvious. Just know this. You may have deleted him from the show, but you can’t from his fans hearts. Right now, there are more fans of his than they are of those that is watching the show. “Wheels up”.
