Once Upon a Time season 7 episode 4 video: Stages of Belle’s life
Could Belle actually die in the episode? We wonder just because of the supreme passage of time. In the sneak peek below, you get the sense that it is around ten years after the conclusion of the events of season 6. Meanwhile, in the photo above you get the sense that even more time has passed — at least for Belle. Rumpelstiltskin still appears to be the same age, despite him proclaiming in the sneak peek that he wants nothing more than to be mortal and to have a life that is equal to the one that he loves. He also wants to cast the now-infamous dagger into the river, never to be forced to deal with it again.
This is the struggle of Rumple that is in many ways eternal with this show — whether or not he can ever let go of the Dark One. We’ve long hoped that he could and we still do; yet, we’re also well aware of its power. Has something outside of Rumple’s control forced him to regress to some of his old ways? What happened to the happy ending that he finally seemed to have? This episode, fittingly entitled “Beauty,” will fill in some of the cracks while possibly breaking our hearts in the process.

It’s Halloween in Hyperion Heights and Victoria forces Ivy to take Lucy trick-or-treating. Meanwhile, Tilly appears to be waking up from the curse and is intent on leading Weaver to the truth – but not if Victoria can help it. In a flashback, Rumple and Belle seek the answer to a prophecy that could cement their happy ending.
There will certainly be some fun moments during this episode — after all, it is Halloween! Yet, this is also a time in which big revelations could take place and you have to be prepared for that.
