Blindspot season 3 featurette shows Jaimie Alexander, cast behind the scenes

Jaimie Alexander

Are you ready for the Blindspot season 3 premiere to be here? We certainly are, and this new featurette with Jaimie Alexander and the cast only accents that.

In the new video below via the show’s studio Warner Bros. TV, you can see Alexander, Sullivan Stapleton, Luke Mitchell, and show executive producer Martin Gero touching a little bit more on the subject of travel. This is the most international season of the show yet — not only are you getting a chance to see Jane Doe and many other characters in different parts of the world, but you will actually see more of the performers on location than ever before. That adds some more authenticity to the series, something that you don’t often get as much of in the world of network TV. There’s something about watching an elaborate action sequence in Venice that is more exciting because you know it’s actually in Venice. There’s not just a green screen behind them or New York made out to look like the city.

Visually this season looks to be a thing of beauty, and beyond that this could be one of the most exciting, mysterious seasons that we’ve seen to date. For starters, there is still the mystery of the glowing tattoos that is going to need to be resolved — these will unlock new mysteries, but one of the biggest ones for Jane is simply how they got there in the first place. Beyond that, you’ve also got Roman fully embracing the dark side, figuring out where everyone from Zapata to Patterson is following the time jump, and of course trying to make more sense of the relationship between Jane and Weller. Blindspot has always been a series that tried to present a little bit of something for everyone, and this is something that they look to be embracing more than ever as we get into this new batch of episodes starting Friday night. It’ll be intense, but also heartfelt since you know and care about so many of these characters at this point.

The one last thing we will say here is that we really hope that you watch. After all, Blindspot is a show in a new timeslot this year and the more loyalty you show it from the get-go, the better off it will be. Beyond that, the better the chances are of a season 4. We like that production is doing something so ambitious right out the gate this year; for the studio, this also shows their own commitment to the series. They’re willing to go all-out in order to make it great.
