The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 5 video: Bernadette’s new ‘helper’
While we know that Melissa Rauch’s character does have her own fair share of struggles here and there, one of the things that we’ve learned effectively from her over time is that she’s capable enough to compartmentalize some of them. Meanwhile, other people struggle a little bit more when it comes to that and she can find a way to use them to suit her own fancy.
In the sneak peek below you get a good sense of this especially with Sheldon. The basis for this episode is rather simple in that Amy and Howard are working together much more than they have in the past and as a result of that, neither one of them is around as much as they’ve been. While we do think Bernadette is bummed out about that (as she should be, given that she has a daughter to care for and is expecting another), she also understands that whining about it wouldn’t do her any good.
With that, she takes advantage of the opportunity to get a few things done for her! Sheldon, for whatever reason, thinks that the perfect revenge on Howard is doing some of his chores at his house — after all, it will make him feel as though he’s not needed there! The joke is really just on Sheldon here, though, given that the last thing we imagine is that Howard is going to be all that upset over this. He’s actually probably just happy that someone else is doing his chores and he doesn’t really have anything that he has to do. He can just sit back, relax, and relish in the fact that someone else is doing a lot of his hard work for him. The last thing that Howard ever wants to have to do is work in some capacity.
There is another sneak peek through in here below, since that shows you another funny side of the same coin. Raj is also very upset that Howard doesn’t have any time for him, and really Bernadette’s not here for much of his nonsense. Still, this is Raj, and almost anything Raj does is going to generate a laugh or two or three.
