Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 6 spoilers: Riggs’ past comes back
“Gold Rush” is going to be the title for this upcoming episode, which is currently set to air on November 7. (Remember that in the event that the World Series runs long, it could be delayed until November 14.) The merits of this installment seem to revolve around getting a chance to see some people from Riggs’ past turning back up and causing a little bit of trouble. One of the challenges that comes with this is mostly that Riggs has a preconceived notion of what these people will be like because of their past — it’s the old phenomenon where you want to believe that everyone you’re close to is great, honorable, and would never do anything terrible. It’s a really nice, sweet sentiment to have. Unfortunately, it’s often not true since there are a lot of people out there in the world who will be disappointed in you.

Riggs is reunited with childhood friends and comes to realize they might be mixed up in the robbery-homicide case he and Murtaugh are investigating. Meanwhile, Murtaugh finds a joint stashed in his kitchen that he brings to Scorsese for testing in effort to bust one of his kids in the all-new “Gold Rush” episode of LETHAL WEAPON airing Tuesday, Nov. 7 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Yes, the idea of Murtaugh investigating his own kids is going to be entertaining, and that should be your source of humor depending on how it’s done. Obviously, kids getting hooked on drugs is serious business, but we wouldn’t be shocked if this is all some sort of misunderstanding and the joint ended up there for some other surprising reason.
After this episode, there will probably be a few more to enjoy this fall before the holiday hiatus; there’ll be a little more news here at CarterMatt as we get closer to them airing.
