When is Vigilante returning to Arrow season 6?
The villain, who first surfaced back in season 5 and whose identity is very much still a mystery, is going to be resurfacing on the November 9 episode of the show. That’s great, even though it does appear as though a good bit of his thunder is going to be stolen by the presence of someone else in Deathstroke. Hence, the name of the episode being “Deathstroke Returns.” Manu Bennett was around for a brief role in the premiere, but he will be back as his character to tell some more of his backstory here. You already known that Slade is trying to look for his son after finally being out of prison; maybe this episode will feature him finding him, but you also do have to worry about the fact that, one way or another, Slade could slip into his old ways.

Slade (Manu Bennett) returns and asks Oliver (Stephen Amell) for help in tracking down his son. When they learn Joe (guest star William Franklyn-Miller) has been taken hostage by mercenaries, their mission to save him gets complicated by a terrible revelation that could shatter Slade’s hopes of reunion forever. Meanwhile, Vigilante reappears in Star City. Joel Novoa directed the episode written by Ben Sokolowski & Spiro Skentzos (#605). Original airdate 11/9/2017.
Beyond of course the Slade story (which we know is going to be awesome mostly because Slade is and there is therefore very little to worry about), there are of course some other questions worth asking as to why Vigilante went away for so long. What did he gain from that? Maybe he just decided to slip under the radar while Prometheus is around, and maybe he now just finally had an opportunity to put on the mask once more and start causing some havoc. You are going to learn who this character really is this season — it may or may not be revealed in this episode, but it is coming and you will eventually have a chance to learn as to whether or not some of your theories are correct.
