Ray Donovan season 5 episode 11 video: Can Ray get charges dropped?

Ray Donovan season 5 episode 11

Ray Donovan season 5 episode 11 is airing on Showtime this weekend, and based on the new sneak peek below Bridget’s in the spotlight.

While Ray’s daughter may not actually appear in the flesh during the preview, she is certainly still the focus as Ray, understandably, is doing just about everything that he possibly can in order to get his daughter out from behind bars. He makes a proposition, claiming that he has some answers as to what really happened, but is understandably still questioned every step of the way and with good reason. Who is going to take a guy like Ray Donovan at his word at this point? He fixes problems for sure, but this is a little different. There is obvious inherent bias inn here and that is something that the character is going to have to sort through and try to figure out how to handle. How can he free his daughter without it being clear that he is doing this just because she’s his daughter? there needs to be something more, but luckily we do feel like he’s got some of what he needs — we’ll see when the episode airs as to whether or not he’s got the rest.

If we had to point out one part of this preview that is far and away the best — and it’s really not even close — it’s when Ray first enters the room and get hits up with a resounding “nope.” There is a surprising amount of humor in the opening few seconds of this preview when you consider A) that Ray is in pretty terrible shape and B) that there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of reason for anyone to be happy.

Ultimately we’re facing the final two episodes of season 5 now, and this is the time where some of the rubber meets the road. Is it still inexplicable that Ray Donovan has not been renewed for a season 6 just yet? Absolutely, but that is something that we’ll take on an examine more when we get closer to the finale. In terms of the story, we at CarterMatt see virtually no reason as for why this show is not officially coming back in one form or another.

Do you think that Bridget is going to find herself freed?
