Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers episode 5: Is a rock draw ahead?
However, our response to hearing Ashley talk about this as a possibility is pretty darn simple: Isn’t it a little early to say that? We don’t know for one if the Levu Tribe (a.k.a. the Blue Tribe a.k.a. the former Healers tribe) will even end up going to Tribal Council again. It seems possible with Alan gone, but you never quite know for sure. Meanwhile, you also have to consider the possibility that Joe, even if he does go to Tribal Council again, throws Desi under the bus to save his own hide. Given what we’ve seen of him so far when it comes to his desire to play hard, this dude is not going to leave his game up to rocks. (Granted, we don’t think that Desi would in a million years either — why risk it for Joe of all people?)
We do like rocks as theater; however, we hate it when someone goes home because of them. Ask Paschal or Jessica what they think about rocks at this point.
When looking at the remaining three tribes, the game is in somewhat of an interesting place given that we’ve lost two big personalities in a row in Patrick and Alan. For now, it also seems like there are certainly people like Devon, Jessica, Cole, Ali, and Ryan who seem to be in super-strong standing and aren’t going anywhere in the near future. We’ve watched every season of the show but in terms of the overall game, this one is one of the hardest ones for us to read in terms of what is going to happen next. Some of that may be because we don’t know a lot about certain characters — did you know that Roark is someone on Survivor this season? Also, some of that may be due to there being some subtle players who aren’t all that interested in tipping their cap to everyone else — other than maybe Cole and Joe, who will tell almost anyone who comes within five feet of them.
