Hawaii Five-0 season 8 photo: First look at Claire Forlani’s return!

For those of you who love Claire Forlani and her Hawaii Five-0 character of Alicia Brown, great news! The character is back soon. You will see Forlani back for the upcoming November 3 episode, which just so happens to also be the annual Halloween episode!

You can read a little bit more about this episode of the show over at the link here, but the biggest thing to note about this in advance is that this episode is going to combine a celebration of the fun fall holiday with some Hawaiian lore and culture. It’s going to be a special installment of the show and there aren’t many other ones out there quite like it.

So why is Forlani’s Alicia Brown back for this episode? CBS hasn’t released any specifics but based on the photo it’s pretty darn clear that she is going to be both out in the field and spending some time with Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) in the process. The two have a strong, caring relationship that stems back from what they went through together in season 7. Could it turn into something more? Maybe that is something the show will explore a little bit more as time goes on, but let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. For now, let’s just focus on getting Brown back into the fold and seeing what exactly transpires from there whenever she is back with the remainder of the group. There is, after all, a great deal to look forward to when it comes to this season in general.

In addition to Alicia coming back and the Halloween-themed story, this episode is going to also feature a powerful Grover storyline where he may uncover a truth to a case that has haunted him for a rather long stretch of time. Is he finally going to get some answers to information that he has long sought? It’s possible, and a big part of what makes the Grover character so interesting is that he does have this deep-seeded history and has gone through some serious stuff during his time in law enforcement. Every person who’s been in this business long enough has some cases that keep them up late at night, and for Grover we could ultimately see part of that play out within this episode.
