NCIS season 15 episode 4 sneak peek: A Mark Harmon, Mario Bello preview
In the new video below you can get one of the first looks that we have at the upcoming “Skeleton Crew,” which will be your great introduction to Bello in the role of Jaqueline “Jack” Sloane. She is coming to Washington DC after spending most of her recent history in California, and she finds herself calling upon Gibbs for help after a weather-related disaster outside leaves her a little stranded. She basically comes into his home without invitation, claims that she is not a freak, and then proceeds to eventually introduce herself.
Now, there are some other questions that you do have to ponder here as to just how intentional all of this really is. Did Sloane manipulate this entire situation in order to meet Gibbs in this environment? We know that she is a profiler, so in turn you have to think that she is smart enough to calculate a situation where she could meet her new colleague ahead of time and determine the sort of person he really is. Maybe that is a way for her to determine whether or not she really wants to work alongside him in DC.
Beyond that, you can also ponder just what sort of side of herself she is presenting. She knows how to make a good first impression and as a result of that, we of course feel like there are many deliberate moves she is making here in order to ensure that she has Gibbs’ attention. Something seems up about the entire scene!
Maybe we are reading too much into this meeting, but regardless there is likely going to be a great deal to like out of seeing Bello on the show for the first time. She is a tremendous actress, and based on what we see here alone we’ve got every reason in the world to have confidence that she is going to be a great addition to the world of the series. We just have to see if some of her introductions to some other characters are anywhere as interesting as this one. (It’s going to be hard to top the awkward charm that we’ve got here.) Very interesting “Sneak Peak”!! My impression is in definite agreement with yours as to Sloane set up the “car breakdown” scenario to size up Gibbs! Especially when she conveniently responded to Gibbs’ offer to check out the car with the cover of the rental company already taking care of it–very sneaky!! I think I’m going to really like the “spark” she’s going to bring in!!
