Ray Donovan season 5 episode 11 spoilers: Can Ray get Bridget out?
When one door closes on this show, another opens and smacks you in the face. Work is never done for Ray, who continues to have to try and balance a billion different things with all of them being trying and challenging in their own way. We’d like to see things work out for him, but our feeling on that subject is that we’re relatively sure that it ever will just because there always does seem to be another problem around each and every corner. Moving into this coming episode, there will be some for Ray when it comes to Bridget, and then at the same time Terry and Bunchy have some issues of their own. This show is moving forward at a rollicking pace, and it’s going to likely stay there until we get to the finale.
Ray Donovan season 5 episode 11 synopsis – “Ray searches for Frank Barnes in an attempt to get Bridget out of jail. Meanwhile in New York, Terry deals with the return of Damon’s father and then takes care of Smitty at Bridget’s request. Back in LA, Bunchy is hit with a heartbreaking confession from Teresa.”
Peace. If there is one thing we’d love to see for the title character by the time we get around to the Ray Donovan finale, that’s it. We’d like for there to be a moment where he can just catch his breath and start to realize that everything will be okay and things will move forward. This is a man who’s lost so much more than we can ever really put into words. Just think about things in this way — Abby’s dead, Bridget is in jail, and he’s had to deal with a scandal the likes of which he’s never seen before where he became the story. This isn’t the sort of fixer Ray ever expected himself to be, but this is where he is now and he just has to deal with it.
Expect a few more surprises over the final two episodes. This is Ray Donovan and the producers probably would not have it any other way.
