Scorpion season 4 episode 5 spoilers: Attacked at a convention
Unfortunately when the team arrives at said convention on an upcoming episode this season, you’re going to see soon after that them find themselves in a wide array of trouble. If you want to get some more news all about that, just be sure to look below:
“Sci Hard” – While attending a tech convention, Team Scorpion is taken hostage by a group attempting a virtual heist, on SCORPION, Monday, Oct. 23 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Will this episode put the team in some unexpected positions? Probably, especially as you see them trying to do what they can to help some of their fellow tech geeks. This is a place where not everyone is probably used to these sort of high stakes. The only thing that could prove to be an asset is that if there are some helpful other attendees at this convention, maybe they have some hackers and engineers at their disposal. It seems like if there is a virtual heist, doing it at a place where there are a number of people capable of counteracting you is a pretty risky proposition. There could be a lot of fun to be had here, mostly in that there could be a lot of one-upping as to who among some of these various people could counteract the heist better. Tech geeks often do have an ego about their skill set — we know this mostly as one ourselves.
CBS isn’t giving you a whole lot of information about “Sci Hard” in advance, but that title in itself is probably intentional as a reference to Die Hard. Maybe this entire episode is going to serve as some sort of homage to the classic movie, with a Scorpion twist to go along with it. The show does tend to have a knack to spin things around enough to make them unique to their universe.
