Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 4 preview: Joey Lawrence returning
What’s the big difference this time around? Well, on Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 4 Wright could actually be an asset to McGarrett and the team more so than a hindrance. Take a look at the synopsis below for additional insight:
“E uhi wale no ‘a’ole e nalo, he imu puhi” – The lives of Five-0’s informants are in danger when the HPD system is hacked and one ends up dead, forcing McGarrett to enlist the help of hacker Aaron Wright (Joey Lawrence), who he just imprisoned, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Oct. 20 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
(“E uhi wale no ‘a’ole e nalo, he imu puhi” is Hawaiian for “No Matter How Much One Covers a Steaming Imu, The Smoke Will Rise”)
The photo above showcases Wright seemingly working somewhere separate from a prison cell, so no matter what happens he may have a chance to breathe a little bit of fresh air! There has to be something that he rather likes about that if nothing else. The larger question here is what sort of deal McGarrett could choose to offer Aaron in the event he does help with the case. Would Steve actually consider letting this guy back on the streets, whether it be now or the somewhat-immediate future? He’s in a difficult spot given that Wright may have the leverage. If nobody else can help Five-0 in the same way that Aaron can, he’ll probably negotiate to get something that he wants in return … and we have a hard time thinking that Aaron is going to go in with a low asking price. He knows some of his skills, and as a result of that he also knows his value. That is going to be in part much of what makes this story so interesting.
As for the danger that the informants are in, their survival could be what keeps you on the edge of your seat for the majority of the hour.
